SAUDI ARABIA IMMIGIRATION GUIDE

Essential Rules for Foreigners Visiting Saudi Arabia (2026)
Foreigners visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) must adhere to the declared purpose of entry and strictly follow the legal stay durations. This guide outlines the fundamental legal requirements for staying in the Kingdom under the current migration regulations.
1. Understanding Stay Periods in Saudi Arabia
The duration of your stay depends on your visa type. Monitoring these dates is critical to avoid heavy fines (overstay penalties) or deportation.
1.1. E-Visa Stay Duration
The Saudi e-Visa is a 1-Year Multiple Entry visa. While the visa is valid for a year, the maximum duration of stay is 90 days per visit. You must not exceed 90 consecutive days within the Kingdom.
1.2. Visa Validity vs. Stay Duration
Your visa validity (1 year) allows you to enter the country multiple times, but your "legal stay" is tracked from the date of each entry. If your stay is planned to exceed 90 days, you must contact us or the relevant authorities before your 90-day limit expires.
2. Requirements for Leaving the Country
If your legal stay is not extended or you do not hold a valid residency permit (Iqama), you are required to leave the territory of Saudi Arabia if:
-
Your stay duration (90 days) has expired.
-
Your application for a visa extension (if applicable) is denied.
-
Your temporary stay is not covered by a valid entry stamp or permit.
Important Note: Overstaying in Saudi Arabia results in daily financial penalties and may lead to a ban on future entries into the Kingdom and other GCC countries.
3. Medical Insurance Requirement
As per Saudi Law, all foreigners entering on an e-Visa must have valid medical insurance covering their entire stay.
-
Note: For all applications through our portal (Standard 200 USD or Urgent 250 USD), mandatory medical insurance is fully included in your service fee.
4. Identity and Legal Document Checks
While staying in Saudi Arabia, you must comply with the requests of the Ministry of Interior or Jawazat (General Directorate of Passport) officers. Upon a legal request, foreigners are required to present:
-
Identity Documents: A valid Passport.
-
Legal Stay Documents: A printed or digital copy of your e-Visa and your entry border number (provided at the airport).
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is mandatory medical insurance included in the 200 USD / 250 USD service fees?
Yes. Whether you choose the Standard Service (200 USD) or the Urgent Service (250 USD), the price includes the mandatory medical insurance required by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You do not need to pay any additional government fees or insurance premiums separately.
2. What is the benefit of adding "Priority Service" to my application?
The "Priority Service" (+30 USD) is the only plan that includes our Error-Free Guarantee. While the Standard and Urgent plans are strictly non-refundable in case of rejection, Priority customers are entitled to a 50% discount on their next application's service fee if their initial visa is denied.
3. Does this guide guarantee entry into Saudi Arabia?
Our guide and consultancy ensure that your application is 100% compliant with the 2026 immigration standards to maximize approval chances. However, the final decision rests with the Saudi government. Please note that as per our legal policy, fees are non-refundable even if entry is denied or the visa is rejected, as all administrative costs and insurance premiums are paid immediately upon processing.
